On Sunday morning we visited the village and island of Galoa (Naloa) where we were very warmly welcomed, particularly by the children playing on the beach who were the first to see us anchoring off the village. Galoa Village is very attractive and the people extremely warm and hospitable, the ladies providing a very tasty lemon squash to everyone after the church service. The afternoon was spent at a beach on the southern end of Yaqaqa (yang gangar) Island, just to the south of Galoa.
