Captain Reef Endeavour - Tuesday, November 22, 2011

We have just completed another Yasawa 7 night cruise. On Sunday morning our two dive instructors, Tara and Mikey, plus Florian and I carried out another assault on the Crown of Thorns starfish at Sacred Island, netting well over 100 – making a total of over 700 removed since our campaign began.

Great to see that the Captain Cook crew are helping to reduce the number of Crown of Thorns Starfish, they are devastating some of the reefs around Fiji. Seeing these starfish was the only bad part of our cruise in with Captain Cook in November. We had
a great time, so much to see and do yet such a relaxing way to see it all, thanks Reef Endeavour staff. Hello to Florian , Tara and Mickey and Suzie & Mere, we miss you all, shame we had to return to our real world (work). So look forward to coming back and
seeing you all again soon.
